First, what does it mean to have the Travel Bug? As silly as it may sound, having the travel bug is a real thing! It’s can be defined as having the urge, strong desire, or passion to travel.
Prior to having kids, our appetite for travel and cultures started at a young age and continued after getting married. We each gained a love and respect for different places and cultures after having traveled the world.
We knew we wanted to instill the importance of family travel in our children, and we made a goal to accomplish it. Starting when they were young, we have taken our girls on several different adventures allowing each of them to catch their own travel bug! While their desire may start small, we can see it grow in our girls year over year.
