Have you heard of OAKI rainwear? While preparing for our 3 week long trip to Europe we checked the weather daily to help us prepare for what we needed to pack. Every single day showed rain, rain, rain. We were a bit disappointed but decided that rain would not stop us from exploring and adventuring.

It was a hot 90 degree summer day in Slovenia, no sign of rain. As we approached the beautiful blue water of the Soca river we gazed at the amazing sights we were seeing! As we started over the bridge we heard the distant clap of thunder. Quicker than we could say its going to rain, the rain quickly plummeted down on us. Thank heavens we had the kids OAKI rain jackets with us! Us parents weren’t so lucky. Torrential rain poured down on us, we continued to hike out of the gorge and through the mountain tunnels. Then it started to hail. Thank heavens for the hood brim on the kids jackets that prevented hail from hitting their face. Running the final half mile to the car we were all laughing. One of the funnest most memorable memories from our trip.
Kids are much more fun when they are not cold and uncomfortable. Because we were prepared we were able to enjoy the moment!
Rain jackets
When looking for kids rainwear, we wanted light weight rain jackets that we could pack in minimal space but also not to be to hot. We didn’t want a plastic type rain jacket because those are uncomfortable and don’t breath well.
Finally, we found Oaki rainwear! We were very impressed the amount of rain gear made just for children.

Summary
We love products that are easy to pack but also comfortable. These jackets provided us the ability to explore the alps with out having to stay inside on those “rainy days”. We were lucky to only have a few rainy, windy, and chilly days. We carried our rain jackets in our backpacks at all time so that we were prepared for what ever weather came our way.
